Uraian Tugas

Streamline Games is looking for Real-Time Visual Effects Artists to join our production team and work on our current and future projects. As a Real-Time VFX artist, you will be working both independently and collaboratively with the development team to make the best-looking VFX. The Effects Artist is expected to concept/design effects either in 2D or 3D to convey the design/motion and overall idea to their leads.

  • Work with the Art Director to develop VFX that compliment or enhance the visual style of a project.
  • Develop stylistically consistent, visually impactful VFX assets through the creative use of particles, geometry, animation, and materials.
  • Ensure that VFX assets are built efficiently and perform within technical budgets.

  • Communicates regularly with the Creative Director & Producer regarding the status of current project milestones and initiatives
  • Obtains guidance and approval from Creative Director as required to advance initiatives and milestones.

Team and personal development

  • Strong collaboration skills with other artists and disciplines.

  • Work with other VFX artists/engineers to identify and implement art-pipeline optimizations and to create technical benchmarks to be used in production.
  • Stays current on industry-standard content creation tools and techniques


Syarat & Kualifikasi

  • Hands-on experience with game engines (e.g. UE4, Unity3D, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of relevant 3D software and plug-in as well as how to optimize for video game hardware (e.g. Maya, 3Ds Max, FumeFx, Rayfire, Realflow etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or After Effects or Substance Designer
  • Good working knowledge of particle driven effects and shader system
  • Good understanding of node-based shaders and their creation
  • Basic 3D modelling and UV knowledge
  • Knowledge of video games industry and awareness of typical video game development processes.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with data management software (e.g. SVN, Perforce, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge of Max or Maya dynamics, particles and expressions, as well as how to optimize for video game hardware
